The Ty Gwyn Hotel is highly recommended for its incredible food, amazing service, and welcoming atmosphere. The Sunday Roast and Welsh beef are especially delicious. Despite limited parking, the staf (Read More)f and locals are friendly, creating a lovely sense of community. The pub offers a small but excellent menu, with fresh vegetables from their garden. Overall, visitors praise the quality of the food, friendly service, and picturesque village setting.

Hidden gem.
Charming row of cottages converted into a quaint hotel. Really nice location overlooking the river. All rooms different and ours had a four poster bed and modern ensuite bathroom. Very comfortable relaxing stay. Breakfast was amazing and meals here are wonderful.
Nothing to dislike about the place.

A lovely hotel. Lovely view of the River Conwy from the bedroom window. The bedroom was clean and nicely decorated and the shower was very modern and clean too . So much choice on the dinner menu , my steak was excellent . The staff were friendly too . Whenever I visit Betws y Coed in the future I'll be staying here .
It's going to make other hotels seem ordinary.

Enjoyable stay
It's an old coaching inn and has many original features and lots of character. The food was very nice too.
The room was comfortable and the Shower was lovely.
Our room was at the front and although it was very nice the main road was quite noisy with traffic passing by all the time
The bed was comfortable but very noisy. It creaked every time you moved.

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay, will definitely be coming again - possibly annually from now on.
Absolutely fantastic food and vast menu, normally with such a large menu you lose quality but not at Ty Gwyn, the food was exceptional for all four of us on both evenings and breakfasts.
The hotel itself is superb, like going back in time, I hope they always keep this decor and furniture as this is what gives Ty Gwyn its charm.
We had rooms 3 and 6B and they were beautiful and comfortable, both with jacuzzi bath tubs. The lady on reception was very welcoming and really nice to talk to - apologies but we didnt catch her name. There was also Hilary serving at breakfast and she was absolutely amazing and such good fun.

There was a slight smell coming from the downstairs mens bathroom, possible that they are on a septic tank, but nothing that would affect your stay at all.
