The bar and restaurant area is pleasant, with competitively priced and good quality food and drinks. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the bar area. The staff are pleasant and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

    Reception staff nice polite and helpful. Rooms good size. Food good
    Bar staff not helpful. Sometimes very noisy. Put money in pool table and then was told no pool cues did not offer money back or try to solve problem. Some of the rooms had quite a walk to get to them and up several flights of stairs We stayed at hotel but spent most of the time elsewhere.

    Felt food good , staff ok ,unsure in bar area when certain people allowed in. Would not come back .
    Rooms spacious & clean Food good value
    Pool table no cue tips after we put money in. Some staff not helpful. Wrong sort of people allowed into hotel bar area.

    Room size is big and breakfast/ dinner is lovely
    Room I was staying in had a broken gutter, so didnt get any sleep. The windows are old so you can hear everything. Pool table has no cues so cant play pool. Other pubs in area are a lot nicer and friendlier.

    Free parking and very convenient
    Convenient. Free parking and breakfast included. The suite was outstanding with a large freestanding bath, large shower and two sinks. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent and they catered for Gluten Free.

    Very good size room. bed really comfortable,
    Breakfast choice absolutely fantastic. Really impressed. The Room size was very good. Very Quiet, in the old part of the building. Obviously just been decorated, still requiring some bits to be finished, but still very nice.
