Everything was great. Staff was so helpful and they are well organized. They made their best to help their guests. Island is piece of heaven. They also helped with late checkout.

Service was not up to a 5star standard, no beach service (towels, waternothing), no extra mile to please customer, no diversity in lunch restaurant, food was not wowjust normal food.

We came back to Velassaru after 10 years and our time there was sensational. What really stands out is the natural beaty of the island. During our stay, we have seen dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles and sharks. Furthermore, the hotel staff is incredibly friendly and competent. Big complements also to the sous chef Wasantha and his team. We will come back very soon!

Staff were amazing and helpful. The fishing trip was great and I highly recommend it.
The only thing that I didnt like or wish to be changed is the Food which needs to be improved.

Absolutely amazing. Me and my wife spent 5 days in velassaru and we had the most amazing time. The staff were impeccable. The rooms were always clean. And the food was amazing. A big shout out to chef Arnold jimenez who cooked our wagyu steak to perfection. He was always polite and gentle to us. And the staff as well, Salam was very polite and always served with a big smile. Uhzemee as well. They had a little surprise for my wife's birthday and she was over the moon. We really loved our stay in velassaru and we will definitely come back.
The breakfast should have more Halal options.

The room was perfect, the staff would pamper you from the airport and all the way back to the airport. The island is secluded, scenic, romantic and beautiful.
Dining options on the island where somewhat limited, and apart from breakfast food was mediocre and too pricey.
