    The location helped us make the most of our visit to the island
    Having the most beautiful beach a few steps away was wonderful. The house had great decor.

    At $600.00 a night it was a considerable disappointment in many ways.
    No breakfast at all. It was close to where we wanted to be.
    The bungalow was so full of items that it was impossible to live there. The walls are all covered with paintings, shells and lots of stuff to knock down. The place is so full of totem poles and stuff piled on the kitchen table and kitchen bar it was impossible to move around or use for fear of breaking something either on the tables, walls or floor. Major shell items on the floor of the bedroom making it hard to get up in the dark without breaking something. This is no place for young kids to be at! The house needs to be cleared out and converted from a museum to a rental.

    Lovely home - needs some tiny adjustments
    The location was a 2 minute walk to the beautiful Matira beach. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and massive amounts of authenticate decor. Beds were comfortable and AC in the bedrooms worked great.
    The house was not fully air conditioned, as advertised. Having pictures of the beach & describing it as beachfront in the ad was misleading, you can not see the water from any area of the house. The ad mentioned a spa in front of the spa and in 4 days we never saw it. The beds had a fitted sheet and a comforter, no top sheet. When I requested the top sheet; the manager brought one the next afternoon; so only couple got a sheet. The washing machine did not work but it looks like that amenity was removed from the ad. The oven required matches to light the stove. The manager said she would bring us some later that day. I asked if she could pick up a bag of ice on that trip if it wasnt too inconvenient; she said she didnt deliver. All is all; we had a wonderful time but at over $500 per night I expected a little more hospitality. It is close to a beautiful beach and walkable to restaurants and a market.

    Beautiful place! A home away from home
    Such a lovely experience here. Villa is directly across the street from Matira Beach, which is THEE highlight of the island! There are 2 sweet treat food trucks next to the beach, and the restaurant Snack Matira is a 5 minute walk from the Villa. ( yummy food!) Villa had everything: full kitchen, living room, dining room, porch area, 2 bedrooms, (air conditioning in one of the rooms) Lots of greenery & flower all around the property. I got lots of rest and peaceful time here. The host staff( Ms. Atea ) was very nice and helpful. Villa is about a 15 minute drive into town (Vaitape) Here you'll find the grocery store CHIN LEE'S. They have everything you'll need. Just remember, can't buy alcohol on SUNDAYS. In town there is the Polynesian market and other little shops for souvenirs, as well as the ferry dock, where you'll catch the boats back to the Bora Bora airport. Villa Bora Bora is also about a 10 minute ride to Bloody Mary's Restaurant, a must try on the island. Make your reservation w/ the restaurant, & they prove free shuttle to/ from the Villa. If you want a taste of what it's like to live here, hang amongst the locals, and beach bum it like a PRO, this is the place to stay! I highly recommend. Mauruuru for an amazing time Villa Bora Bora

    Beautifully decorated home that gives the feel of being in Tahiti.
    very well equipped kitchen & overall spacious unit. great location to be close to the beach. Very helpful host to greet and check us in.
    The shower stall is an open concept & doesnt contain the water within the shower stall area only. The owner should consider buying a large floor squeegee for easy clean up & faster to dry the floor.

    Most relaxing vacation
    The location was fabulous right across from a beautiful quiet beach. Close walk to resort if you would like a nicer meal out. Market and rental equipment are all very handy. The host was so incredibly helpful ,especially when my mom became sick and we needed medical help. She even checked in 2 weeks afterwards to see if she was feeling better.
    The only thing we had trouble with was the washing machine, which wouldn't work properly.

    Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Right across from the beach and close to beach bar and food truck. AC in bedrooms. Walking distance to store. Fun day trip with snorkeling with NoNo Tours.
    We should have rented a car to see more of the island.

    Overall a wonderful experience
    Location right across the road from Matira Beach was fantastic. Snorkeling just a few metres from the shore was amazing. Our hostess drove me to the local supermarket on the morning after we arrived, so I could stock up on provisions, which was very helpful as it was too far to walk.
    The bed could have been more comfortable, and the accommodation could have been a little less cluttered.
