Great location, easy experience.

Early check in, super close to the airport. Staff made check in and check out super easy.

Cleaners were very noisy and kept setting up their stations outside our room specifically. When I went out they were just in their phones..

Pleasant stay in the heart of Katong

I booked this place for my parents as they were visiting from abroad and we live nearby. Katong is a great vibrant area and this hotel offers a more affordable option than Indigo and others nearby, and also to those closer to the financial centre. The hotel is a bit older than others which means that the rooms are bigger than newer hotels (we were debating between Village and Holiday Inn and decided to go for Village because of this). Overall it was a clean and pleasant stay and would book again if needed.

During the checkin I feel that more information could have been given. My parents pressed a button by mistake which meant their room was not made up on the first day. The second piece of feedback is that we only got them breakfast for a day and it was nothing too exciting, so decided to have breakfast elsewhere on the rest of days.

Village Katong Hotel is highly recommended! Location, staff service, cleanliness all is top-notch!

2nd time staying here, great stay! Attentive staff who took note of my birthday though I didn't indicate and threw in quite a few upgrades! That was a really pleasant surprise! Love the Peranakan vibes of the hotel and location was great! Walking distance to many cafes, cultural feels of Katong! Will definitely be back for more stays in future!

Firstly I would like to thank the helpful friendly staff, especially Mary, who was excellent in responding to all our concerns and went the extra mile to help us.

When we went to charge the phone in the hotel room wall socket it short circuited the room and ruined the phone charger. The aircon control panel in the room also made a sizzling sound every so often throughout the day and night, which was disconcerting especially after the phone charger incident. Thankfully it continued to work although the fan speed adjustment was faulty. In addition to this there were small blood stains on one of the towels.
