Not worth the amount of money they charge

The villa was not the one we have booked. While it was sorted out it left us with unpleasant feelings. The alternative villa where we have spent 5 nights had no adequate lighting and the level of cleanliness of the floor or curtains were very low. The mosquito net around the bed was so dusty that it was better not to touch it. The bathroom was outside and due to high level of humidity the black fungus was thriving everywhere. People allergic to dust or fungus should avoid this place. All water features around the villa or swimming pool look great from the distance but we have found them to be too noisy during the night. During the breakfast, the staff could improve their attitude towards the customers. In overall we were disappointed by Visesa Ubud Resort.

Location and lay out The view from the 3rd floor of the villa is excellent.Beautiful resort and very friendly staff. The evening entertainment with Balinese dance is really good. They should try more such entertainment activities each evening.. We visited during the festive time of Golungan and the whole of Ubud is full of festivities..we have been to the restaurant opposite reception which was good. The prices of drinks from reception/ lobby area are very reasonable.

Breakfast was a bit routine after 3-4 days especially when you are staying for a week.. The indian counter is just basic. They should include more variety of Indian breakfasts.

A slice of heaven in Ubud!

Visesa is a slice of heaven in Ubud. It's away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud, so you can enjoy the tranquil gardens, rice fields and beautiful villas. Our 2 bedroom villa was adequately equipped, with a private pool that our family enjoyed immensely. The service is top-notch, from check-in to departure! All the staff was eager to attend to our needs, whether it was breakfast in-room service, golf cart pickup, or reservation assistance. We also enjoyed their resort amenities and activities, like Balinese dancing, yoga, massage, acoustic night by the rice fields... and our personal favorite, cooking Balinese food with their chef. Highly recommended!

Location of the property is central and very convenient - the property is close to the bustling part of town The property is sprawling - wish lavish rice fields and cute private villas The staff is a cherry on the cake - they will pamper you with great hospitality

Lovely ambiance, friendly and welcoming.

The buildings and rooms were beautifully designed and surrounded by lovely tropical trees and plants and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice place. We recommend it.

Some of the staff from main reception, despite overall very good service, are not very well trained. For ex: we book a massage for 4 pax through them and when we went to the spa, we werent on the list. We lost half a day of the holiday because of that because we came back from other activities from the town especially for the massage and we couldnt have it.
