Location, views, dinner, sauna and spa massage

It was clear the shortage of staff and the ones available without proper/prior trainingwere doind their best. However It resulted in lots of small but continuous mistakes as wrong order on breakfast, had to ask 4 times to get a access card that works, etc. Also the place clearly needs more maintenance, since recommend track to indoor facilities. The gym doesn't have basic equipment, you can easily hear through the walls in between rooms, there are no proper chairs around the swimming pool, and some health and safety concerns around the outdoor area.

Great views and clean!

Front desk female staff when checking out wasnt that friendly, she even ignored me to take a phone call. Also, waiter on the night at the restaurant was saying to order fast or the kitchen will close in a very rude tone, no apology given. I dont think we were even that long choosing from the menu. Its such a shame, I regularly stay here and mostly have good experiences.

Breakfast was okay. Nice view.

Personel was not service minded. They did not serve snacks or lunch the day we arrived, as was promised. Therefore we could not order anything to eat until dinner (8h). Extreamly hungry we went to dinner. The dinner was expensive. We payed 48 NZD for 2 aspargus, 2 tortellinis and a piece of duck. It was good but definetely not worth the price. Therefore we needed to order fries after two courses to even get full. If you want to book any spa treatments you need to book them 48h beforehand. The pool is difficult to reach. It feels like they do not want you to use it. FYI the road to the "RESORT AND SPA" does not excist so it is really difficult to get here by taxi or Uber.

Lovely location with everything you need

Lovely location and large, comfortable beds.

Checked into our room only for it not be cleaned - nothing major but would have been nice to check in at 2pm after a long drive!

The receptionist was lovely and very helpful, and I loved the location! Air is fresh and so much cooler up in the bush! Amazing views!!! I have booked to come back but not the same room! The beds were oh so comfy!!

The loft room would not recommend to anyone had I researched more. I would have paid more for a better room It was nice until the guest in the next room checked in around 10pm..you could hear everything from her room from opening cupboards to her coughing and then snoring all night!!! Could even hear clearly what she was watching on tv, If it wasn't dark and being up in the hills, I would have checked out during the night, and being above the restaurant, it was super noisy! Probably slept 2 hours The pool was not clean! We were looking forward to that only to find so many bugs and dirt in there

We wouldnt recommend this room again.

Tranquil location

-The accomodation was dated and needed some TLC. -Stains everywhere on the couch, bed sheets and sheer curtains were covered in black spots (might be mould). -A mouldy teaspoon was found in one of the rooms (coffee bar area)
