We booked a sea facing 2 bedroom apartment. We were given a garden facing one.
There were cockroaches in the room. Completely unacceptable hygiene deficiency!
There is an extremely heavy smell of fumigation in the room throughout. Clearly, you know of the infestation but still lease out the room.
The living room phone doesn't work.
The bedroom TVs are not clear - static and grainy reception.
The breakfast hall was not clean - smelt heavily of disinfectant, but still there were roaches.
Ordered room service. Even though we'd paid the room bill in advance (USD 730 for 2 nights B&B), your room service staff insisted we should pay for room service on the spot. When we did, we did not get our change back up until checkout when we had to escalate to the GM.
We ordered pizzas at the poolside. The order took almost 1 hour to come through. One pizza had old ingredients, including mushrooms.
Poolside furniture has bird droppings that set in, and the chairs are obviously not cleaned regularly.
Some of your staff do try hard, but overall, they're poorly trained and have a weak service ethic. Also, to not return change is just dishonest.
For all of the above, you really can not charge the rates you do!!
