    Clean, amazing food and very well appointed! We loved it and Vineeth the owner was very helpful.
    It was fitted and styled well throughout and felt very spacious for a 2 bed houseboat. The staff were very attentive and the food was amazing.
    Nothing, although would be good to know in advance about options en route such as massages as wed had massages the night before.

    Beautiful authentic experience!
    Lovely layout, it looks relatively newly refurbished so everything is in good condition. Lunch was delicious, with a great variety of dishes laid out on a banana leaf. We bought fish from the market which the chef prepared for dinner alongside other dishes. Breakfast was lovely, we really enjoyed the banana coconut pancakes.
    One thing to note is to remember to bring bottled water as this was only supplied at mealtimes unless asked for, the staff could have been a little more forthcoming checking if water was needed, and also communicating timing for breakfast in the morning.

    We stayed overnight and enjoyed the beauty of the landscape and the impeccable comfort of the boat.Great scenery,nice staff , delicious food,a very relaxing experience.our expectations were very high and frankly they were even exceeded. Definitely Highly recommended..

    Amazing! Stayed for 2 nights and could have done longer!
    Everything was amazing from start to finish. The boat is beautifully furnished, the sun deck at the top was an added bonus, great for sunbathing and relaxing. We saw many boats and ours looked the best by far. The 3 staff on board were super, the food cooked was plentiful and tasty. We were left alone to really relax.
    Nothing - everything was absolutely superb.

    Allepey waters & surroundings, rather than having some awesome scenic nature, they were pure hopeless ujda chamans; all regions-3 days thru out wherever this boat went or was stationed boat was a very degraded boat & room was very very basic Problems in boat wifi & too lacklustre mobile data perception resulting in total blockage of anything with internet, problems in sending even WhatsApp plain text messages also at times; & we were not in jungle; we were in middle of Kerala, just around the allepey AC gets on & off; has to tell captain many times regarding ac rigid behaviour of captain / main person on boat rather than being polite it was a 9 am checkout time, & main handler person didn't inform at time of check-in from his side, & when questioned about it the day before checkout on getting to know from captain; he was just not accepting his mistake that he didn't inform from his side on check-in, he was continuously just arguing about the checkout time 9 am as mentioned in booking.com; i was having another continuous booking in allepey in ramada allepey with check-in time as 2 pm & ramada was not receiving the phone (wanted to contact for paid early check-in) & this person was not ready to extend the checkout till 12 pm; many of hotels in allepey i tried to book for 2 days (previous day 12 pm- next day 12 pm, 2 days) sealing the gap of 5 hrs but for that one has to contact the hotel after booking otherwise they just forfeit the booking if a person has not arrived till 9:30 am on next day of checkin date, either allepey hotels were not having any number placed in Google maps or whatever number was there in Google maps was unreachable, can't find any number of any hotel in MakeMyTrip/Booking.

    I loved everything during my trip. Staffs were extremely helpful. Love their hospitality, food and the peaceful journey. Definitely the best one I ever had.
    Not that I didn't like. But could have had hot shower included. Nevertheless the staffs boiled the hot water and helped us to have our hot shower.

    Amazing and calm stay with the best private keralan cook
    We loved our stay on Why Not Houseboat. Booked one room and had the boat alone for us in the end together with the cook Suresh and the captain Prince who both made the stay even better. What a cook Suresh is- wow! Best authentic keralan food served while going around on the backwaters. The room is very nice and clean and we loved the upstairs sitting area where you have the best view from. The place we stopped and stayed for the night was also fine, quite quiet in the evening and night.
    The only thing though is that we would have wished to see some parts of the backwaters that are more quiet, we mostly went with all the other boats on the big canals and when we did kayaking in the early morning we were hoping well go to the smaller canals but Prince just brought is a bit further on the big canals where all the boats were parking for the night. This could really be improved in making the kayaking happen in the afternoon and the boat doesnt stop long for lunch or for the massage and theres more time to see the smaller canals around where there are no big boats.
