Great value for solo travellers. Near restaurants, shops and the MRT. It was also nice that you can check-in even in the middle of the night. My flight arrived at 12am and I was able to check-in at around 2am.
The included breakfast was so-so. Need to take off shoes at the entrance and no indoor slippers provided. The room and locker lock keypad was so loud that you'll wake up when someone is opening theirs.

cleanliness: bathroom is always clean. toilets and shower space are separated.
security: they gave us passcode individually, instead of a card key.
staff: one female staff is always kind and friendly.
location: really good. from Chinatown station, you can come here without passing large roads.

I enjoyed my 2-night stay at the hostel. It was clean with friendly staff and comfortable bunk space.
However, an issue arose as all electric sockets were in the Singapore variant, causing inconvenience for foreign guests. The staff addressed the issue promptly by providing a converter for a $3.10 charge. Overall, a positive experience with a minor inconvenience swiftly resolved.

All good things to say about the facilities and staff. Super convenient location - close to Chinatown MRT.
The other guests did not seem to understand hostel expectations. Many guests were middle aged, unlike most hostel experiences. People were very loud and it was a crowded hostel.

The location is very close to the Chinatown MRT station.
They don't provide a proper place to keep luggage. The place they restrict for check out luggage is totally beyond the eyesight from the counter which the risk to lost the luggage is high. I need a safer place for my luggage and thus I sent "Ask a question" in booking.com to confirm about luggage keeping place but no one replied to it even after I have checked in. When I found the unsecure luggage area, I was very worry and I talked to the counter and also directly messaged the boss to allow my small backpack to be kept under the counter long table. But they really upset me. The boss asked me for evidence that I sent "Ask a question". I forwarded the screenshot with the content to him. he got the evidence but still he did not allow me to place my small backpack at a safer place. I was really disappointed with the boss for Wink at Mosque Street, Singapore.
Besides, no bathrooms or toilets at the same floor of the dorms. You need to climb up many steps to go 2 floors up to reach the toilets and bathrooms.
Only one drinking water filter in the pantry for so many guests for the whole property! And sadly the only one water filter did not work well. people queue to get a cup of water for the breakfast. The water can just fill up 1 glass the most, and the next person needs to wait for another few minutes to get another cup! I can't believe this has happened!
Recently I went to Malacca the SGI Vacation Club Hotel (350 m to the very famous A Famosa Fort), I can't believe how generous the owner of the property is that I paid RM85/night for a Saturday-Sunday stay under booking.com for a very clean and beautiful ensuite room with a queen bed and also a sofa bed, and the hotel has offered free hot and cold drinking water from a big standing water filter for each floor! I really appreciate the kindness of the owner of SGI Vacation Club Hotel.

Perfect location and quite affordable accomodation for Singapore.
Not the cleanest hostel based on Singapore standards.
Use of cleaning chemicals that are effective against Coronavirus, Guest accommodation is disinfected between stays, Linens, towels and laundry washed in accordance with local authority guidelines.
