    The location is about 15 mins from Galle, road leading to resort is pretty narrow. Breakfast has limited options for Veg folks but whatever was prepared was nice. The villas are a bit of a walk from the entrance, it was raining during our stay and had to cross wet grass to the villa.
    If they could make a stoned path to the villas from the main entrance. Wifi speed could be improved.

    Great value for quality
    An little heavenly oasis of calm and charm near Bara beach and a tuktuk ride away from Galle. Lovely staff comfortable villas and great easy service.
    The spa was a little disappointing but the massage was good.

    Simply Amazing with wonderful Service!
    Our stay at Wirdana Resort was simply amazing. The villa we stayed at was perfect with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. The service from all the staff was wonderful. Lahiru and the rest of the team was just so friendly and kind and made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. Loved that they are also pet friendly. In house dining was also delicious! Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town of Galle, the entire property is so peaceful, beautiful, well maintained and the perfect place for a nice and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

    Relaxing stay
    The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and the owners were super nice and helpful. The wifi in the room was very strong. The room was huge and just like it shows in the photos. There are a lot of beautiful animals in the gardens of the property (peacocks, squirrels, kingfisher) so it's very peaceful to stay outside and just relax. They organise a free tuk tuk in the first day for me to go to Galle Fort.
    Just minor things... The location is a bit away so you will need a tuk tuk to go everywhere. There was 1 or 2 cockroaches behind the sink in the toilet

    Worth a visit for peace and tranquility
    Off the beaten track, but so quiet and serene with just the noise of the surrounding countryside. enjoyable stay with good staff and good breakfast. The swimming pool was great and the room was very rural but clean and comfortable.

    Overall, this hotel has close to 4 or 5 star level room deco but 1 star level of infrastructure and 0 star level service
    The room was unique and spacious
    The service and facility was the worst I have ever seen for a 4 or 5 star rated hotel. 1. When I arrived at hotel before 6pm, only 6pm, there was already no one to check you in. just a guy that led you into a room. 2. I misremembered that I booked breakfast and originally said no need. but when I figured out that I booked breakfast and came out at around 8pm, there was almost no one in the hotel. I searched hardly and found a guy, telling him that I need the breakfast next day morning at 8am. but when I get up sharp on time, there is no breakfast and I waited for 20mins to just get a menu. 3. There is no hot water for shower in the room. And when I came out again at ~10:45pm, there was literally no one in the hotel. I have to yell at the resort for somebody, literally yell!, and knock the door of locked managers office. the noise finally got me somebody, and he turned on a button, but STILL no hot water! I had to shower in cold water in a hotel I paid for 4 or 5 star hotel price. 4. There is no Wi-Fi in the room. The guy leading me to the room told me the PW is on the machine. I tried more than 10 times, it kept telling you PW incorrect, and you can find nobody to solve the issue.

    An absolute No-No!
    This hotel is the epitome of deception. The experience was bad. There are better hotels (beach-facing) in the locality. The staff was absent the entire stay. The hotel looked abandoned and unkept. The price was not at all worth it. Would not at all recommend this hotel

    Beautiful but lower your expectations - Not 5*
    The hotel is exceptionally beautiful and breakfast was superb. The pool is as good as it looks. The staff were generally very nice. The manager was in a tough position, however. The hotel is up for sale and the owner has reduced what services are available i.e. the spa wasnt operating and we wanted a massage and the restaurant wasnt operating. The nearest good restaurants were quite far.
    1. No lunch, dinner, or drink service. The chef moved to Malaysia or the owner decided not to have a chef during low season. Depends on which member of staff is telling you. This made it very difficult to laze around the pool for the afternoon because we had to leave the hotel to eat. As its far from restaurants this was not convenient. 2. We did not get the room we booked. The room we got for the first night was fine. We moved into the suite we booked for the second night. 3. The beautiful spa wasnt operating and we wanted a massage.

    The perfect resort to connect with nature
    Everything amazed us at Wirdana, the staff are like a family and work so hard to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The manager went above and beyond for us to enjoy our time. We spent over a week here with our kids. Was heaven. Will miss it a lot.

    Could do with a small makeover and get a good chef in place. Half of the menu was unavailable for breakfast.
