Day 1 Guwahati Airport Pickup – Shillong (100km / 4hrs)
  • Upon arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Guwahati), our representative will meet and assist you with your transfer to Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya.
  • Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 4 hours. En route, stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani) to admire the picturesque views and perhaps savor some local momos.
  • If time permits, upon reaching Shillong, visit local attractions like Wards Lake, Don Bosco Museum, and Lady Hydari Park.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
  • After breakfast, depart for Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. On the way, visit:
  • Elephant Falls A three-tiered waterfall set in the dingles of the rocks.
  • Shillong Peak: The highest point in Shillong, offering panoramic city views.
  • Arrive in Cherrapunji and explore
  • Mawsmai Cave: Famous for its fossils and limestone formations.
  • Seven Sisters Waterfalls: A seven-segmented waterfall, one of the tallest in India.
  • Nohkalikai Falls: The tallest plunge waterfall in India.
  • Living Root Bridges: Unique bridges made from the roots of rubber trees.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
  • After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Kaziranga National Park in Assam, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the one-horned rhinoceros.
  • Enjoy the scenic drive through the lush landscapes of Meghalaya and Assam.
  • Arrive at Kaziranga by late afternoon or evening.
  • Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

What's Good: Pinki organised the trip really good. Constant communication, good itinerary and lits of suggestions to try local stuff. The hotels and travel was also very good. My family enjoyed (Read More) the trip a lot.
