Day 1 Cape Town – Hermanus – Cape Agulhas
  • Depart from Cape Town early in the morning.
  • Drive along the coast, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
  • Stop at Betties Bay to see African penguins.
  • If you're adventurous, you can try shark cage diving (extra cost) or book a whale watching boat trip (seasonal, extra cost).
  • Arrive in Hermanus, known for whale watching (seasonal).
  • Spend the afternoon exploring the town.
  • Continue to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa.
  • Check in to your accommodation for the night.
  • Visit a viewpoint where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.
  • Have dinner at your accommodation and enjoy an overnight stay.
  • Start your day with breakfast before leaving Cape Agulhas in the morning.
  • Embark on a scenic drive along Route 62, which is South Africa's longest wine route.

  • Arrive in Oudtshoorn, famously known as the Ostrich Capital of the World.
