Day 1 Cape Town to Cape Agulhas via Hermanus
  • Depart early from Cape Town (shark cage diving clients start even earlier).
  • Drive along the coast, stopping at Betties Bay to see African penguins.
  • Spend the afternoon in Hermanus, known for whale watching from July to November.
  • Continue to Cape Agulhas, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.
  • Check in and have dinner at your Cape Agulhas/Struisbaai accommodation.
  • Have breakfast at Cape Agulhas.
  • Depart for Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich Capital, via Route 62, South Africa’s longest wine route.
  • Enjoy lunch and a wine tasting at a local winery. (additional cost)
  • Check in at your accommodation on a working game farm in the Little Karoo.
  • Explore the ostrich farm with views of the Outeniqua and Swartberg mountains.
  • Return to your accommodation to dinner and overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, traverse the scenic Outeniqua Mountain pass.
  • Explore Wilderness National Park with canoeing up the Touw River through indigenous forest.
