Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong

Arrive at Guwahati airport/station and transfer to Shillong.
Visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake that lies en route.
On arrival at Shillong, check in to your hotel and get settled in.
Evening free for leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 2 Excursion to Cherrapunjee - Explore Waterfalls and Caves

After an early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place in the world.
See the beautiful waterfall Nohkalikai.
Explore the caves known as Mawsmai.
Return to Shillong by evening.
Visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak which lie en route to Shillong for some breathtaking views.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 3 Transfer to Kaziranga National Park - Leisure Day

After breakfast, leave for Kaziranga National Park.
Check in to the hotel.
Evening free for leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 4 Exploring Kaziranga National Park - Safari Ride

Explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant early morning.
Enjoy the thrilling experience of watching the wildlife.
Return to the resort and have breakfast.
Evening free for leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in the resort.

Day 5 Transfer to Tezpur, Visit Park - Temple and Lake

After breakfast, transfer to Tezpur.
On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Visit Chitralekha Udyan, Padum Pukhuri Lake, Nameri National Park, 3015-meter-long Kalia Bhomora Setu Bridge and Dakhina Kali Temple.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Tezpur

Day 6 Transfer to Bomdila - Leisure Day

After breakfast, transfer to Bomdila.
On arrival at Bomdila, check in to the hotel.
Later, visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thubchog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), and Bomdila View Point.
In the evening, visit the local market.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Transfer to Tawang - En Route Visit Sela Pass and Jaswant Garh

After breakfast, transfer to Tawang.
Enroute visit Sela Pass and Jaswant Garh.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Day at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Day 8 Explore Tawang - Tawang Monstery and Panjang Teng Tso Lake

After breakfast, visit Tawang Monstery, Namgye Lhaste, Panjang Teng Tso Lake, Gorsam Chorten, Gontse Garden, and Singar Ani Gompa.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Day 9 Transfer to Dirang - Visit Hot Water Springs

In the early morning, drive to Dirang.
On arrival at Dirang, check in at the hotel.
After some rest, visit the regional Apple Nursery, Kiwi farm, and Dzong (fort).
Later visit hot water springs, and you can also enjoy a bath in them.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 Transfer to Bhalukpong - Visit the Bhalukpong Fort

After breakfast, leave for Bhalukpong
On reaching Bhalupkung, check in at your hotel.
Visit the Bhalukpong Fort
Take a tour of Tipi today. View more than 50000 varieties of orchids.
Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 Transfer to Guwahati - Leisure Day

After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Day at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.

Day 12 Explore Guwahati - Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra

After breakfast, set out to visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple.
In the afternoon, visit the Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (on your own).
Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 13 Depart from Guwahati

After breakfast, drop off at the railway station or airport for your onward journey.

I liked the stay and travel in Gangtok and Pelling...will recommend for beautiful stays and well planned itineraries! I didn't like the stay in Darjeeling...Darjeeling is not for tourists anymore as (Read More)it is very dirty and congested with traffic jams galore...not worth spending money on!

Luxo kochi hotel services excellent. Food ok, stays ok. Houseboat stay and one hotel is not upto marks. Houseboat company which hire for us not good.
