Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Cappadocia
Welcome to Cappadocia! As if plucked from a whimsical fairytale and set down upon the stark Anatolian plains, Cappadocia is a geological oddity of honeycombed hills and towering boulders of otherworldly beauty. The fantastical topography is matched by human history here.
  • Upon arrival, you will have a transfer to the hotel. (Transfer will be on a shared basis and will operate at a specific time only). Check-in at the hotel (standard check-in time post 15:00 hrs).
  • Breakfast at the hotel, departure from the hotel for Full Day Goreme City Tour.
  • Firstly, you will stop to take photos at UC Guzeller, which are famed fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.
  • Next, visit Goreme Open Air Museum, where this religious education was started.
  • You will visit the churches, chapels and monasteries carved into the fairy chimneys from the 10th to the 13th centuries with frescos painted on the walls.
  • Return back to the hotel.
  • Recommended Optional Activity: Hot Air Balloon Activity (At an Additional Cost) (It can be operated on Day 03 or Day 04, subject to weather conditions)
  • Please Note: Kindly be advised that children below 6 years old or less than 120 centimetres in height are NOT allowed on Hot Air Balloon.
  • After breakfast, the day is at leisure, or you can opt for a Private Tour of The Valleys and Underground Cities of Cappadocia.
  • Board your vehicle and visit the Rose Valley - famous for its rock-cut churches. Also, visit Cavusin - an old Greek village known for its Christian houses and churches.
  • Later, visit the Ortahisar Castle and Kaymakli - the underground city where early Christians lived in fear and faith.
  • Also, visit the Pigeon Valley to understand how pigeons contributed to the lives of locals.
  • After breakfast and check out from the hotel, proceed to the Kayseri OR Nevsehir Airport for your flight to Istanbul.
  • On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure.
  • After breakfast, experience Istanbul’s timeless sights on a full-day tour of the city’s stunning historic places.
  • Listen for the ancient echoes of pounding hooves and charioteers at Hippodrome Square and spot the distinctive tiles of the Blue Mosque.
  • See the Byzantine mosaics and minarets of Hagia Sophia and then follow in the footsteps of powerful sultans, courtiers, and generals at Topkapi Palace.
  • Finish your tour in the vibrant Grand Bazaar, browsing bright displays of handicrafts, carpets, and souvenirs.
  • End of the tour; return back to your hotel.
  • After breakfast, you can personally opt for an entirely local experience of Istanbul.
  • Pass through Golden Horn shore and visit Pier Loti Hill.
  • Climb the hill with a short cable car trip. Pier Loti Hill has a fantastic view of the Golden Horn and Istanbul. While you enjoy the picture, you will drink tea/coffee (included in the price). In addition, you will have the opportunity to taste ‘gozleme’.
  • Then take the cable car to come down and visit the Balat neighbourhood.
  • Next, we will visit Karakoy, where the cruise port is.
  • You can taste Turkish veg/non-veg street foods and visit the most well-known desert shop in the city, ‘Gulluoglu’.
  • Next, we will drive to Ortakoy, which is a pretty small neighbourhood just on the Bosphorus and just under the leg of the Bosphorus Bridge.
  • Finally, we will continue going through Bosphorus and reach Bebek- It is also a very nice point to swim at the Bosphorus. 
  • You can taste Bebek’s famous almond butter.
  • Then you can have ice cream from the historical ice cream shop.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Breakfast at the hotel, check-out formalities and free time depending on the flight home.
  • 3 - 4 hours before your departure flight, you will have a transfer (Transfer will be on a shared basis and will operate at a specific time frame only) from the hotel to Istanbul Airport.
