Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Gangtok - Leisure Day

Meet & greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport.
Transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.).
On arrival check-in to the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet.
Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Visit Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army.
Return to Gangtok in the evening.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3 Transfer to Lachen - A Stop for Singhik View Point and Waterfalls

After breakfast check out from the hotel.
Transfer to Lachen (9,800 ft.).
En-route visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Waterfall, Naga Waterfall.
Arrive at Lachen by evening. and check in to the hotel.
Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 4 Morning Excursion to Chopta Valley & Gurudongmar Lake - Transfer to Lachung

In the early morning drive to Chopta Valley (13,200 ft.) & Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft.).
Return to the hotel.
After lunch drive to Lachung (8,800 ft.).
Arrive at Lachung by evening and check in to the hotel.
Dinner & overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 5 Drive to Yumthang Valley - Transfer to Gangtok and Visit Waterfalls

In the early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft. known as Valley of Flowers).
On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties.
Return to the hotel for lunch.
Transfer to Gangtok.
En route witness the wonderful Bheema & Twin waterfalls.
On arrival at Gangtok check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 6 Half Day Gangtok City Tour - Transfer to Pelling

After breakfast start the half-day city tour of Gangtok covering Banzakhri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Do-Drul, Chorten & Institute of Tibetology (maximum 3-4 hours).
In the afternoon drive to Pelling (6,100 ft.).
On arrival check-in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 7 Explore Pelling - Visit Darap village, Waterfalls, Lake, Monastery and Ruins

After breakfast start for a full day of sightseeing.
1st half of the tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake & Kanchenjunga waterfalls.
In the afternoon start for the 2nd half of the tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, New Helipad Ground.
Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 8 Transfer to Darjeeling - Explore Local Markets

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.).
On arrival check-in to the hotel.
Rest of the day free.
Explore the local markets on your own.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 9 Sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga - A Visit to Parks, Tea Gardens, Temple and More

In the early morning (at 4.00 am) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular Sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft. world's 3rd highest peak).
On your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 10 Depart from Darjeeling - Tour Ends

After breakfast check out from the hotel on time.
Transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

I liked the stay and travel in Gangtok and Pelling...will recommend for beautiful stays and well planned itineraries! I didn't like the stay in Darjeeling...Darjeeling is not for tourists anymore as (Read More)it is very dirty and congested with traffic jams galore...not worth spending money on!

Luxo kochi hotel services excellent. Food ok, stays ok. Houseboat stay and one hotel is not upto marks. Houseboat company which hire for us not good.
