Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar and Local Sightseeing
  • Arrival at Srinagar Airport.
  • Transfer to hotel and prepare for the city tour.
  • Visit the Shankracharya Temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar.
    These gardens were Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots.
  • Also visit the handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-shawls, jackets, bed covers, paper mache, carpets & much more.
  • In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake and explore the local markets.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Leave for Sonamarg in the morning.
    Also known as the 'meadow of gold’ , Sonamarg is last stop of Kashmir district.
  • From here starts the territory of Ladakh.
    Situated at an altitude of 2743 mt above sea level, the fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and masher fishing in summer.
  • You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment).
  • Return to Srinagar in the evening.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel in Sringar.
  • Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam.
  • Also known as the 'valley of shepherds', Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag Lake.
  • En route, visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman.
  • Arrival at Pahalgam.
  • Enjoy the natural beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. 
    Baisaran is a small village set in pine and fir forest.
  • In the evening, return to the hotel in Srinagar.
  • In the morning, have breakfast and drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers.
    The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating.

It was an amazing trip and everything so well planned and oragnised that we just had to bother abou (Read More)t packing my bags, rest everything was seamless. I would like to thank Uzma and his team for such a wonderful experience throughout and enjoyed the family trip. On very short notice she arranged cake and dinner for our anniversary. Just 1 more thing as you also know that travel industry has a very competitive environment these days and everyone is offering almost the same price. So price is no longer a differentiator for repeat customers. Superior customer service differentiates you in your business...
