Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong
  • Arrive at Guwahati airport.
  • Visit Kamakhya temple, Umananda Temple.
  • Drive to Shillong (120kms / 3 hrs drive).
  • En route stop at the scenic viewpoint of Umiam Lake (the largest manmade lake in Northeast India).
  • On arrival in Shillong, check in to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Shillong.
  • After breakfast visit Shillong Peak, Cathedral, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco Museum.
  • Later explore Police Bazar.
  • Spend the evening at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
  • After breakfast drive to Cherrapunji (56 km / 02 hrs drive).
  • On the way visit Elephant falls.
  • Drive further to Cherrapunji.
  • In Cherrapunji visit Mawdok Valley Viewpoint, Seven Sister Falls, the Nohkalikai Falls (the fourth highest falls in the world), Mawsmai Cave, Dainthlen Falls, and Krem Falls.
  • After exploring for the day check into Jiva resort and relax.
  • Spend the evening at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
  • After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong (110 kms / 03 hrs drive).
  • Explore the village and also trek for 10 min to visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai village.
  • Also, visit The Dawki (Indo – Bangla Border).
  • Later go for a boat ride in the Umngot River (the crystal clear river).
  • After a day-long excursion, return to Shillong.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
  • Note: During monsoon season, the Umngot River won’t be crystal clear.
  • Drive to Guwahati airport for onward destination.
  • Sightseeing can be done depending on flight timing and interest.

What's Good: Trip was very well planned and assisted by the Imity agent Pragyan at every stage. Hello was always available and responded to our every query and request. On each day of our trip (Read More)he asked us how the trip is going and if there is any issue. Imity travel also arranged our Kamakhya Devi temple darshan which was hassle free. Our driver cum tour Guide Bishal Das Gupta was also exceptional, very well behaved and experienced. He ensured us to be tension free and made sure we enjoy at every sight seeing places. Over a great trip. A big thanks to Pragyan and Imity travel

What's Good: Had an amazing experience on our last Arunachal Pradesh trip with the Imity Travels, the service was too good, Miss Sadhna & Miss Prity helped us all throughout the trip, the hotel (Read More)s were good, the driver was very nice as well. Looking forward to more such trips in future.
What's Not Good: The hotel of Bombdilla was below par.

We planned our Arunachal trip from Gauhati to Tawang and back via kaziranga. Through holidify we found reference of Trikhal Tourism and believe me it was an excellent find. They helped me plan the iti (Read More)nerary, hotel booking , car with driver. And all was perfectly arranged. The driver and the car was excellent. It was a smooth trip with good experience. They took extra care to ensure they took us to good eating joints and market places wherever possible. Highly recommend them if you are planning your trip to Arunachal. One of the Hotel at Bhalukpong - WII international was an average hotel and should be avoided if possible.

Kudos to 3 Way destination for crafting a 6N/7D trip to Tawang at a leisurely pace. The hotels arranged were quite good and the vehicle was brand new. Had a great time. I'm sure my next few trips to o (Read More)ther amazing destinations of the North East & Bhutan will be through them. Keep it up 3 Way Destination!!
