Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi - Welcome to Kenya

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya.
Transfer and check-in at your Nairobi hotel.
You can opt to go sightseeing (at your own expense).
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Nairobi to Masai Mara

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart Nairobi to reach Masai Mara.
Drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a viewpoint for scenic views.
Arrive at Acacia Camp, overlooking the Meguarra hills and the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3 Masai Mara

Early morning game drive in the famous Masai Mara Reserve to witness the "Big 5" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and other wildlife.
Return to the camp for breakfast.
Option to visit a nearby Masai Manyatta (traditional hamlet).
Lunch at the camp.
Continue game drives in the reserve.
Evening around the campfire, witnessing a beautiful sunset.
Dinner and overnight stay at Acacia Camp.

Day 4 Masai Mara to Eldoret

Depart Masai Mara after breakfast.
Travel through scenic tea plantations of Kericho to reach Eldoret.
Have lunch on the way.
Descend the Rift Valley Plateau on your way to Eldoret.
Check-in to the chosen hotel in Eldoret.
Spend the evening in one of the Eldoret’s popular barbeque clubs featuring delicious grilled cuisine, live entertainment, and a vibrant social atmosphere.
Overnight stay in Eldoret.

Day 5 Eldoret to Kampala (Uganda)

Breakfast at the hotel in Eldoret.
Check-out and leave for Kampala.
Cross the border into Uganda and reach Kampala, the capital city.
Explore vibrant craft markets like Owino Market for unique souvenirs.
Savor authentic Ugandan flavors at a local restaurant in Kampala.

Day 6 Arrival at Lake Bunyonyi

Morning Departure from Kampala after breakfast.

Lunch at the accommodation.
Explore the Lake Bunyonyi through dug-out canoe boating.
Evening relaxation by the lake, with dinner served at your accommodation.

Day 7 Gorilla Trekking Excursion

Early morning departure for Gorilla Trekking (location based on permits) with packed picnic breakfast.
Thrilling trek through lush rainforests to observe and photograph mountain gorillas.
After the trek, return to Lake Bunyonyi for lunch.
Go on a boat cruise around about 29 islands and learn about them.
Dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 8 Lake Bunyonyi Exploration

Breakfast at the lodge.
Visit nearby villages with local markets and schools for cultural interactions.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
Take a boat ride to Akampane or the Punishment Island.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9 Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation

Breakfast at the lodge.
Spend this day relaxing at Lake Bunyonyi, embracing the serene surroundings.
Lunch at the lodge.
You can opt for guided nature walks afternoon or swimming the lake (only if you are an expert swimmer).
Evening dinner and overnight stay at the accommodation.

Day 10 Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala (Departure)

Check out and start your journey back to Kampala.
Stop at the Equator for a unique photo moment.
Arrive in Kampala in the afternoon, concluding your Uganda adventure.
