Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Anuradhapura Munishwaram Temple and Manavari Temple

Day 2 Ancient City in Anuradhapura, Mihintale Rock & Temple

Day 3 Jaffna Nallur Kandaswami Kovil, Jaffna Fort, Jaffna Library

Day 4 Nagadeepa, Nilaavara Well, Jaffna Museum

In the morning, visit Nagadeepa and Nilaavara Well.
Later, tour the Jaffna Museum, followed by a Jaffna City tour & local sightseeing.
Overnight stay at Jaffna.

Day 5 Trincomalee

Proceed to Trincomalee in the morning.
Visit the Seven Hot Water Wells, Nilaveli Beach in Trincomalee, the Marble Beach and Pigeon Island.
Overnight stay at Trincomalee.

Day 6 Koneswaram Kovil, Dutch Fort & Golden Kovil

Day 7 Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya

Day 8 Dambulla, Matale, Kandy

Proceed to Kandy in the morning.
On the way, visit the Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla, Spice Gardens in Matale, Matale Kovil and the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
In the evening, enjoy a Kandy cultural dance performance.
Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 9 Nuwaraeliya Hanuman Temple and Hakgala Botanical Gardens

After breakfast, proceed to Nuwaraeliya.
Visit a tea plantation and factory, the Hanuman Temple in Ramboda, waterfalls at Ramboda, Gregory’s Lake and Hakgala Botanical Gardens (Ashok Vatika).
Overnight stay at Nuwaraeliya.

Day 10 Ella Seetha Amman Kovil, Divurumpola Temple and Ravana Ella Cave

Day 11 Tissamaharama Ravana Ella Waterfalls and Yala Safari

Day 12 Katharagama Katharagama Holy Grounds, Ussangoda and Mirissa

Proceed to Katharagama in the morning.
Visit Katharagama Holy Grounds consisting of Buddhist Temples, Hindu Temples and Muslim Mosques.
Followed by visit to the Holy River in Katharagama.
Proceed to Mirissa via Ussangoda.
In the evening, relax at the Mirissa beach.
Overnight stay at Mirissa.

Day 13 Whale & dolphin watching

Start the day early with whale & dolphin watching in Mirissa.
Spend the day at leisure at the beach and indulge in beach activities such as surfing.
Overnight stay at Mirissa.

Day 14 Colombo Rumasala, Galle Fort, Mangrove Islands and Turtle Hatchery

Proceed to Colombo in the morning.
On the way, visit Rumasala (Sanjeevani Drops) and Galle Fort.
Take a river cruise at Madhu Ganga through the Mangrove Islands and visit the Turtle Hatchery.
Later, take a City Tour in Colombo.
Overnight stay at Colombo.
