Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Gangtok

On arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, a representative will meet and assist with transfer to Gangtok.
Check-in to hotel and relax.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tshangu Lake

After breakfast, start for journey to Tshangu Lake.
Spend the day exploring the region.
Return to Gangtok for overnight stay.

Day 3 Exploring Darjeeling

After breakfast, proceed to Darjeeling.
In the afternoon go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing & Gombu Rock and Tea Estate.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 Sunrise at Tiger Hills & Departure

Embark on an early morning tour to Tiger Hills to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak.
On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast, proceed to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for onward journey.

From the moment I a (Read More)rrived, I was struck by the state's natural beauty – the majestic Himalayas, pristine lakes, and lush green forests. The tourism infrastructure was well-developed, with a range of accommodation options to suit all budgets. My cozy hotel in Gangtok offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The local tour operators were knowledgeable and friendly, helping me plan my itinerary to make the most of my time in Sikkim. They took me to all the major attractions, including Banjakri falls, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, and Rumtek Monastery. One of the highlights of my trip was the trek to the Kanchanjunga falls, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The trek was challenging, but the scenery made every step worthwhile.
