Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to the Hotel

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in and settling into your accommodation, enjoy an evening sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its impressive monuments, including the Hanuman Dhoka Palace and the Living Goddess Kumari’s house. The square is a vibrant hub of history and culture, offering a glimpse into the royal history of Nepal.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Kathmandu’s famous temples and historic sites:

  • Pashupatinath Temple: This sacred Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in Nepal. Witness the spiritual rituals and cremation ceremonies that take place along the Bagmati River.
  • Bouddhanath Stupa: A towering symbol of Tibetan Buddhism, Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world. You can walk around the stupa, spinning the prayer wheels while observing the daily rituals of monks and pilgrims.
  • Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): Situated on a hilltop, Swayambhunath offers panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. The stupa is surrounded by numerous smaller temples and shrines, with the famous monkeys adding a lively atmosphere.

After an early breakfast, drive to Chitwan, located in the Terai region, which takes approximately 5-6 hours by road. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a welcome lunch. In the evening, take a brief tour of the surroundings and learn about the various jungle safari activities planned for the next few days. Afterward, enjoy a traditional dinner at your hotel, followed by a cultural performance or a relaxing evening in the heart of nature.

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, a picturesque city nestled between the Annapurna mountain range and Fewa Lake. The journey takes about 5-6 hours by road, offering scenic views of rural Nepal. Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Later, take a leisurely walk along the shores of Fewa Lake and enjoy a boating adventure for about an hour, offering stunning views of the mountains and the peaceful lake.

Wake up early for a sunrise view over the majestic Himalayas from Sarangkot, one of the best viewpoints in Pokhara. From here, you can see panoramic views of the Annapurna range, including Mt. Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain) and Mt. Dhaulagiri.

After sunrise, head back to your hotel for breakfast. Then, embark on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara, visiting:

  • Vindyavashini Temple: A sacred Hindu temple located on the shore of Fewa Lake, dedicated to the goddess Vindyavashini.
  • Seti Gorge: A narrow, deep gorge carved by the Seti River that offers impressive views of the powerful river and the surrounding landscape.

After breakfast, either drive or fly back to Kathmandu (approximately 6-7 hours by road or a 25-minute flight). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore any remaining sights or do some last-minute shopping in the bustling Thamel area.

On your final day, take some time to shop for souvenirs in the vibrant markets of Kathmandu. You can pick up pashminashandicraftshandmade jewelry, and Tibetan artifacts. Afterward, our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight.
