Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP
- Depart from Entebbe/Kampala in the morning, stopping at the equator for photos.
- Enjoy lunch in Mbarara before continuing to Bwindi National Park.
- Arrive in the evening and settle in for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
- Begin the day with an early breakfast.
- Gather at the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on gorilla tracking at 8:30 am.
- Spend 1-6 hours in the forest searching for gorillas and observing their behavior.
- Return for refreshments after tracking.
- Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where lunch, dinner, and overnight stay will be provided.
Day 3 Transfer to Fort Portal
- Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing for Fort Portal.
- Take in the scenic views during the journey.
- Arrive in Fort Portal and check into your accommodation.
- Dinner will be provided at the lodge, where you'll also spend the night.
Day 4 Transfer to Murchison Falls NP – Leisure Day
- Enjoy breakfast before departing for Murchison Falls National Park, famous for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife.
- Stop at the top of the falls to marvel at the powerful Nile River.
- Check into your lodge upon arrival and relax.
- Spend the evening soaking in the natural beauty of the park.
Day 5 Game Drive, Boat Cruise, & Overnight Stay in Murchison Falls
- Begin the day with an early morning game drive to explore the northern part of the park.
- Spot a variety of wildlife such as giraffes, elephants, buffalos, lions, and more.
- Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
- In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the River Nile to the bottom of the falls.
- Encounter hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species during the cruise.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Murchison Falls.
Day 6 Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe - Departure
- Depart early for Budongo Forest for a thrilling chimpanzee tracking experience.
- Receive a briefing from the park warden before entering the forest.
- Trek through the lush forest in search of chimpanzees, with tracking taking 1-3 hours.
- Spend a maximum of one hour observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
- After tracking, begin the journey back to Entebbe via Kampala.
- Arrive in Entebbe in the evening and check in for your departure flight.
- Accommodation throughout the tour.
- All meals as specified in the itinerary.
