Housing various facets of our country, it is known to draw tourists for its splendid architectural heritage, grandiose structures, magnificent wildlife, culture, and food. The state attracts a sizeable foot-fall around the year. However, to further boost tourism and revenue, the tourism board has undertaken this initiative.
Details of The City Walk Festival
Cities: The city walk is said to cover a couple of states such as Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Panna, Vidisha, Khajuraho, Chanderi, Jabalpur, and Orrcha.Subjects covered: It covers subjects like art, culture, history, food, textile, and spiritualism, assisting tourists to experience the best of everything!
Dates: October 12th, 2019- November 10th, 2019. The walks will take place during the weekends which will include a maximum of 2000 participants.
Guide: Each walk will be headed by a local walk leader who will lead the participants. The tourism board has urged volunteers to spread awareness about the legacy of the state.
The managing director of the tourism board suggested that this initiative is in the interest of making tourists aware of the state's inherent beauty, history, and heritage along with familiarizing them with its regal ambience and rich culture.
