If you are looking to just have a cosy evening and socialize over drinks, then you have found yourself the perfect place to spend your time. Popular among locals and most tourists, Sam’s Bar is located on the rooftop of a building in the streets of Thamel and it’s only sign is a Neon-lit board outside the bar. They serve only drinks and you will not find any food on the menu except popcorn. 2. Irish Pub
Bustling with young crowds, this club in Kathmandu is arguably one of the most lively bars in town. The dimly lit bar is home to the football fans of Kathmandu and it gives a great mix of the Nepali and Irish cultures. Purple Haze is the place to be for rock music and drinks. Although it is a little on the costlier end, the atmosphere is crazy and infectious.
