While it may not look it from the outside, the nightlife in Koh Lanta pleasantly surprises tourists. The island is home to a few great bars, host parties, and live music shows every night. Nightlife in Ban Saladan
Bars are not plentiful in Ban Saladan, and tourists usually return to their hotels at the end of their days or to the beaches to enjoy a night out.

Mary Ann’s Bar is a small but warm and cosy bar with many friendly faces. You can enjoy great tapas and interact with foreigners who’ve settled down on the island.

One of the oldest bars in Koh Lanta, Ozone Beach Bar, hosts a party every Thursday night. This bar has great DJs and great music curation, with parties on the sand stretching late into the night. There are two bars within the compound, one that's open throughout the day and another that opens at night.

5. Irish Embassy
With large screen TVs, wifi, and often a free barbecue, the Irish Embassy is a great place to spend your night. This Irish bar is frequented by diving instructors and their clients and often hosts birthday parties.

Shooters Bar is the place to go for a game of pool. The locals who hang around this bar are very competitive players, however, so you might end up losing some money playing them. This bar is on the quieter side, not really being a party place. Happy Hours are from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Southwest Koh Lanta is home to quieter but classier bars, more expensive than the northern part of the island. Nightlife in this part of Koh Lanta is more relaxed. With the absence of nightclubs, don't expect wild parties in this part of the island.1. Blue Moon Bar

3. Aqua Bar

The east coast is where the old town is located. This part of Koh Lanta is generally alive during the day, as visitors generally return to their hotels on the west coast at night. However, this part of the island has seen more tourists of late, and with it a growing nightlife.

Mango House has traditional wooden villas and suites set right on the beach. The resort also has a bar that has quickly become one of the hottest party spots in Koh Lanta's old town. The bar serves great snacks and has excellent DJs at night. It also hosts corporate parties.

1. Quiz Night
The Irish Embassy Pub hosts a quiz night every Monday, starting from 8 PM. To add spice to an already fun night, participants can win free shots and even a 1500 THB tab at the bar.
2. Sunset Sessions
The Ozone Beach Bar has Sunset Sessions every Monday and Tuesday, with a DJ playing from 5 PM until 12 AM. You can dance and watch the sunset over the Andaman Sea as the DJ works through their playlist.
3. Open Mics and Live Music
The Irish Embassy Pub hosts an open mic session every Wednesday from 8.30 PM. You can go with friends and sing into the night, having the time of your life. Koala Bar has live music every Thursday and Saturday from 6.30 PM to 9.30 PM. Why Not Bar on Kantiang Bay has live music every night and serves affordable food and drinks.
4. Pool Parties
The Pirates Paradise Adventure Resort hosts Koh Lanta’s only pool party every Sunday. The party starts at 2 PM, and there’s also a fire show at 7 PM. The resort also offers free pick-up and drop-off services to non-resident party goers.
Night Markets in Koh Lanta
1. Ban Saladan Market
The night market on Walking Street in Ban Saladan is active every Wednesday evening, from 4 PM until 9 PM. Along with cheap clothing and souvenirs, vendors sell a variety of food items on the streets. You can try a variety of skewered meat and fish, as well as candies and candy floss.
