Indians citizens need to apply for eVisa to travel to Oman. There are two Oman tourist visas for Indians - Tourist Visa 10D (26A) which allows a stay of upto 10 days and Tourist Visa 30D(26B) which allows a stay of upto 30 days in Oman. Both the visas are single entry visa and the processing time is 5 to 7 business days. Oman also has a 3 days transit visa. Indian citizens with a valid visa or residence permit from Australia, Canada, Japan, the UK, the USA, or a Schengen country can get a visa on arrival in Oman for a maximum stay of 14 days. You must have a confirmed return or onward ticket and confirm hotel reservation to get visa on arrival in Oman. 

Documents Required for Oman Visa for Indians 

  • Completed Oman eVisa application form
  • Original Passport valid for 6 months on entry into Oman
  • Digital photograph of the applicant (photo must be taken against a white background and dimensions should be 45mm height x 35mm width)
  • Photocopies of the last and first page of your passport
  • A valid hotel booking
  • Confirmed return ticket

Oman Visa for Indians Cost

10D (26A) Oman visa for 10 days: OMR 10000 or INR 2165
30D (26B) Oman visa for 30 days: OMR 20000 or INR 4328

There is a fine of OMR 10.000 for each day of overstay after the expiry of visa

Oman Visa on Arrival for Indians

Indian citizens who have a valid visa or residence permit issued by Australia, Canada, Japan, USA, United Kingdom or a Schengen Member State can get a visa on arrival in Oman. It is valid for 14 days. You need to have following documents to get a visa on arrival:

  • Confirm return/onward ticket
  • Confirm hotel reservation

Oman Visa Processing Time

The processing time for Oman visa for Indians is generally 3 to 5 working days, except for Friday, Saturday, and national holidays.

Oman Visa Application Process

  • Visit official electronic visa portal or website of Oman at evisa.rop.gov
  • You can choose the option for 10 days or 30 days visas.
  • Fill out the online application form with accurate and up-to-date information, including personal details and passport information.
  • Upload supporting travel documents. Ensure that they are clear and legible.
  • If you are travelling with others then you can also add additional members and fill their details separately in the same form.
  • Pay the e-visa processing fee using a valid debit or credit card.
  • Review and submit your application.
