This traditionally styled lodge houses nine private and sustainable cottages available for their guests. The cabins are constructed in a sustainable way to coexist with nature.1. Stone Cottage
Price Per Night for Double Sharing: INR 10,500 + GSTThe property has five locally handcrafted stone cottages in stones and mud. Insulated to keep warm during the winters and rather pleasant during summers, the cottages are further designed in metal sheet roofing and an added insulation. The stay provides a clean and private toilet along with their eco-friendly toiletries.

Price Per Night for Double Sharing: INR 11,500 + GSTWith four mud cottages built in the authentic Vangujjar tribal style using locally sourced items, this jungle lodge is a pleasant stay, especially during the summers. The mud cottages also have a veranda overlooking the forests and the mountains.

Food at Vanghat Jungle Lodge
Guests can relish authentic food as they sit in the Chaupal by the serene view. The adept chef cooks delicious local food using ingredients sourced from nearby places. When you’re here, you should try the Tibetian delicacies served in the hotel. Dinner is served in the candle-lit dining area, providing a memorable dining experience. Vanghat Jungle Lodge also hosts a watchtower or matchan, providing a 360-degree view of the Shivaliks and the nearby forest. The lodge staff can also assist you in spotting different wildlife, and if you are lucky, you can also catch a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger.The room rental is also inclusive of two walking safaris. Other tours for Birding, Angling and wildlife excursions can be booked through the lodge itself. Vanghat Jungle Lodge also organises healing retreats for guests to relax amid the mountains! Address: The Lodge - Corbett Tiger Reserve, Marchula, Dist. AlmoraOnce you reach the Ramganga valley, take a 2-KM walk to pass a bridge. After which you would be crossing a small village to reach the lodge finally. Situated by the Western Ramganga River near a secluded bank, the Vanghat Jungle Lodge is set deep within the division of Kalagarh Tiger Reserve. Know that there would be quite a lot of walking along with your luggage! Make sure you energise enough for that! If adventure is your scene, you can also reach the lodge via rafting on the Ramganga river.
By Car
You could either drive down from Delhi or even book a taxi. A drive from Delhi to the Vanghat Jungle lodge would approximately take around 5 to 6 hours to reach Marchula. After which, you would have to trek for about2 KM to reach the lodge.
By Train
If you prefer train travel, take the train till Ramnagar, the closest railway station to the Vanghat lodge. After this 5-6 hour train journey, you could contact the lodge authorities to pick you up from the station, which would further be a 2-hour trip.
By Air
Book your tickets either to the Indira Gandhi International Airport or even to the Pantnagar Airport. You can further contact the lodge to book a pick-up to the accommodation.
