Adelaide's Victoria Square, named after Princess Victoria (later Queen), is the largest and most prominent out of six in the city. Also known as Tarntanyangga, it is home to some of the most magnificent structures in the city, including the Statue of Queen Victoria, Three Rivers Fountain and the Statue of Charles Kingston. In addition, Victoria Square is surrounded by several significant buildings, including the General Post Office, the former Treasury building, and the Supreme Court of South Australia.
