The vineyards in the countryside is something that deserves special mention. Famous wine countries like Barossa Valley and McLaren Valley are some of the few but the experience of tasting exquisite wines is unique to each one of them.
Take a ferry down and make sure to stop at the wine country that you will pass through on the way. It produces some of the finest wines in the region. Although Barossa Valley is the most well-known wine region in South Australia, McLaren Vale is a lot closer to Adelaide.
