The Interiors of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre Satisfy 4 Major Architectural Principles,
Making it an Architectural Marvel
(Source)
The genius behind the architectural marvel of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre was Robert G. Boughey and his associates. The architecture of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre satisfies four primary criteria; creation of an airy space, flexibility of the built structure, inclusiveness of Thai architecture and cultural elements, and controlled natural lighting. The interior and exterior of the building also have a resemblance to the iconic Guggenheim in New York with spiral passages and the curvy entrances. There are a total of 10 floors in the building, with the circular hallways making it convenient to explore the galleries.

BACC exhibits are not restricted to a specific type of exhibition; hence, the displays keep on changing. With an international vibe about the place, the descriptions of the art pieces are available in English, whereas bilingual staff members are always there at the tourists’ disposal for ensuring a guaranteed experience.

Within the Gallery
The mammoth-sized exhibition halls might give a small impression of the exhibition; however, once you step inside, you will be awestruck with the innovation and creativity of the gallery. Some of the themed shows held here include contemporary Japanese crafts, Asian photography, Mekong River Art, Young Thai Artists, India@70, and one on the late king, King Bhumibol Adulyadej or Rama IX. Over recent years, the BACC has transformed into a popular place of interest for art enthusiasts, particularly students. While every art piece might not be the best in its field, the galleries do a fair job in throwing light on the contemporary Thailand art culture.
