Munster is an impressive Gothic cathedral with spires that is open to the public. Munster also offers you a stunning view of the River Rhine and you can even spot the Black Forest and Alsace in the glimmering distance from here.
This cathedral was destroyed after an earthquake back in 1356. When it was re-built, the exteriors were typically Gothic in style while the interiors were more Romanesque. Two or more people can climb up the long Gothic towers, for CHF 5 per person. The interiors also portray several figures such as St.George slaying the dragon. There are a number of towers too, each one as beautiful as the other.
