As one of Hungary's heritage sites, City Woodland Park is a long 302-acre public space located in District XIV of Budapest. It is widely regarded as the first public park in the world. The park extends from Heroes Square and offers cultural facilities for locals and tourists alike. There are also a castle and some museums onsite.
Aside from the many sports arenas located at the museum, there are two grand museums showcasing the art and history of the city. A visit to the Budapest Transport Museum and the Budapest Zoological and Botanical Garden is the perfect way to experience an arboretum and modern railway collection. Rides, arcades, and a fairy-themed Vajdahunyad Castle are provided for kids at the park. As you explore the park, eat at the different food stalls and relax in the open-air medicinal bath.
