If you take a picturesque drive of just under 6 hours to the north of New York City, you shall arrive at Burlington, Vermont. With a small population, Burlington identifies itself with the unique niche it has carved for itself in terms of small town charm and local art. Nature is prevalent in this city that feels distinctly rural. 

Just 10 minutes from downtown Vermont, the Green Mountains provide visitors with ample opportunities to hike and skiing. On the other side of Burlington, walking distance from Church Street is the glistening Lake Champlain that offers plenty of boating activities. For a dip in its waters, Burlington has several small beaches in its area. The south of Burlington is distinctly in touch with the local art and is full of breweries to sample.
