The Aladaglar National Park in Cappadocia is known for its majestic mountain range, often known as the “Alps of Turkey,” which appear rust-coloured at sunset. It is spread out across the provinces of Kayseri, Niğde and Adana in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. The park is home to the tallest mountains of Turkey's Central Taurus Mountains and is an ideal place for hiking, trekking, mountaineering and bird watching.
There are four mountains in Aladaglar National Park, over 3,700 m above sea level. The highest is Kızılkaya which stands tall at 3,767 m above sea level. It houses diverse flora and fauna like red pine, black pine, fir trees and wildflowers, bears, wolves, wild goats, Capra ibexes, bearded vultures, singing birds, and different butterflies, etc. The Kapuzbaşı Waterfalls, which comprise seven waterfalls, are well-known here, as are the glacial ponds that form upon the arrival of spring. One can also stay on a pension here. There are, however, no safaris to explore the park.
