With a bright red-tiled roof, Tuek Daeng is a single-story red building having a 7-meter-wide and 32-meter-long structure. Built-in 1893 by the French, it consists of five rooms, which are linked to each other. Back then, it served as a military base and living quarters for soldiers. After the war, this building was reconstructed into Laem Sing district public library. At present, the red building is no longer a library but a tourist attraction and home to an old French canon.
