Jumeirah Mosque, Dubai Overview
Jumeirah Mosque is regarded as one of the most beautiful mosques in the UAE. Built exactly on lines of Cairo's Al Azhar Mosque that is eight times its size, this mosque is an excellent example of Islamic architecture. It is the only mosque in Dubai that is open to non-muslims. Its detailed architecture and design are even more glorified when lit up in the evening. It is also one of the most photographed mosques in the UAE.
Exemplifying the medieval Fatimid style of architecture, the fort is adorned with two minarets displaying intricate stonework. To fully enjoy and explore the Jumeirah Mosque, one can book a 75-minute guided tour with the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU), which is organized six days a week from Saturday through to Thursday at 10:00. One has to reach the main entrance of the building by 9:45 without any prior reservations. Most unusually, photography inside is allowed, so itÍs worth bringing a camera.

- Legs and arms must be covered. This is for both men and women.
- No shorts on clothing that goes above the ankle.
- No translucent or see-through clothing allowed
