Located on the shore of the Indian Ocean, this nature reserve is spread across 64 acres near Umhlanga Rocks in South Africa. This reserve is famous for the sightings of deers, green monkeys and different rare birds. In addition, the reserve boasts picnic spots, an ancient shell midden's remains, hiking trails, and a bridge and promenade that cross the lagoon. However, the highlight of this trail is a 500-year-old white stinkwood tree, Celtis Africana.
The reserve encompasses the lagoon of the Ohlanga River, even though most of it is inland from the bustling M4 freeway. An unofficial nudist beach at the foot of the Ohlanga lagoon attracts various tourists.
