New Old Town Frankfurt

Frankfurt Old Town in Germany is a historical district popular among tourists and locals alike. The district is situated on the northern bank of the River Main and boasts a rich history that dates back to the medieval times. The Old Town is one of Frankfurt's most popular tourist destinations attracting visitors from all over the world.

Visitors can stroll through the winding streets and admire the beautiful half-timbered houses, grand cathedrals, and stunning public squares. 

The Old Town was originally a walled city and served as an important trade center in Europe during the Middle Ages. Here, visitors can marvel at the stunning Gothic architecture of Romer, a historic building that served as the city hall for over 600 years. The square is also home to a bustling outdoor market, where visitors can shop for traditional German souvenirs and sample local cuisine. 
It was a hub for trade, commerce, and cultural exchange, and many of the buildings in the district reflect this vibrant history. Unfortunately, during World War II, much of the Old Town was destroyed, but extensive reconstruction efforts have restored it to its former glory. One of the most popular attractions in the Old Town is the Romerberg, a public square that is home to many of Frankfurt's most famous landmarks.
