Often regarded as Gold Coast's most iconic surfing point, Kirra Beach is the northern break of the Superbank. The Kirra point separates Coolangatta Beach to the south and Kirra Beach to the north. The Beach is the spiritual home of surfing in Australia and is also home to the Kirra Surfriders club. Because of the high barrel waves, it becomes the best spot for surfers to enjoy thrilling and big surfs.
