The Can Marca cave is located near Port de San Miguel, which is about 100000 years old. Built of stalagmites and stalactites, the caves have a golden yellow interior after the sunlight peeps in. It was a great place for smugglers to dump their goods in the old days.
Can Marca caves are located on the northern part of the island of Ibiza at about 10-12 metres above the sea level. It is hidden within a cliff in Port de Sant Miguel de Balansat. Telluric faults resulted in the making of these faults. One can get breathtaking views after entering the cave. At the centre, there is a cascade of water and a music and light show held every day. The sheer amalgamation of brilliance and spookiness along with the strange colours in the caves make it a perfect tourist destination. Visitors can also see the views of the sea from the openings in the caves.
