Other rides like Zorbing on a slope and on water, Body Zorbing can be enjoyed by children with their parents. If one is looking for a more adventurous kind of a ride, they can go for Mechanical Bull Ride, ATV Rides, Bungy Trampoline, Dirt Biking, Archery, Rope Courses and Paintball. There is also a video game arena and a water park at Appu Ghar. The water park is open all days of the week from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM IST and guests can go for some exciting activities like water rides and slides, swimming in the pool and playing in the wave pool. The video games are available around the same time and guests can have a blast playing these games on the PlayStation of the Xbox. Royal Golf Club at Appu Ghar, Jaipur

One of the latest additions to Appu Ghar is the Golf Course which was opened to the public in 2015. It is another recreational yet regal sport option for its customers. The golf course expands over an area of 58 acres and has 9 holes. The layout has a well-maintained course and consists of artificial lakes, sand bunkers, contoured green patches and plush fairways. Interested ones can become members of the Royal Jaipur Golf Club and enjoy other amenities like access to the Club House, Dining Facilities, in-house Golf pros, Golf Academy, a Pro Shop, Refreshment Huts, Trolley Facilities and Golf Cart.

Attractions around Appu Ghar, Jaipur

There are a number of attractions around Appu Ghar, within a circumference of 50 kilometres, that tourists can explore. The Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, Ramniwas Bagh, Hawa Mahal, Sisodia Rani ki Bagh etc. If tourists want to go shopping, they can head to the Johri Bazaar (30 kilometres away from Appu Ghar), Bapu Bazaar (36 kilometres away), Chandpol Bazaar (35 kilometres away) or the Kishanpol Bazar (30 kilometres away from Appu Ghar). Tourists would have to plan their day ahead in time to be able to explore all these attractions as it is not possible to do so in a day or two.

Restaurants

Appu Ghar has quite a number of options when it comes to food for the customers. The amusement park houses a vegetarian restaurant, “Phulwari”, a banquet hall named “Feathers” and a number of other kiosks that sell snacks and beverages like tea, coffee, soda, bakery items, ice-creams etc. Those staying at the resort can also make a request in advance for specific dishes.

If people want to eat outside the premises, they can head to A Heritage Farm, Shree Ram Restaurant and Dhaba, R. K. Dev Restaurant, Muskan Hotel and Restaurant Chandrawal Dhaba, Ram Hanuman Dhaba, Balaji Hotel, Adarsh Hotel etc. which are located on the Delhi Bypass Highway near Appu Ghar.

How To Reach Appu Ghar, Jaipur

Appu Ghar is located at Delhi Ajmer Bypass in Jaipur, about 27 kilometres from Pink City. It takes about an hour to reach the attraction by a self-driven or rental car. The route via Sikar Road – NH 48 is the shortest route to reach Appu Ghar.

Another route, NH 21 – NH 48, is 33 kilometres or so long. Public transport is quite convenient. OLA cabs are easily available or people can also go for a regular auto rickshaw ride or a bus ride. If one is in close vicinity to Appu Ghar, they can even board a tuk-tuk which is another convenient way to commute in the city but at shorter distances.
