The goddess is believed to be the one who removes the rigidity of one's mind. The temple here is a Shakti Peetha, one of the holiest shrines of the Mother goddess.

The ferry takes INR 34/- per head (special 169/-)and after you reach the rock, pay more INR 20 per head to see the memorial. Stay your quality time at the meditation centre. Bookstore is available n (Read More)ext to it. Photographs are not allowed inside. Opens from 8am to 4pm. Seat on the left side of the boat if you want to click the rock from the boat.
