Kuang Si Waterfall is a three-layered waterfall located close to the city of Luang Prabang in Laos. Biggest waterfall of the area, 
Kuang Si has three tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream.

Also known as Tat Kuang Si waterfall, the waterfall is surrounded by forested mountains, the turquoise coloured falls has many shallow pools for swimming. If you plan to rent a bike to reach Kuang Si Waterfalls, make sure you have sufficient fuel as there are no stations on the road once you go out of Luang Prabang town. The road to the waterfalls is not in good condition in some places. Hence it is advised to drive carefully. There are very few options for food and drinks in restaurants and cafes near the falls. So carry your food and water to picnic. If you are opting to swim, wear modest swimsuits as the town is still conservative. Wear comfortable hiking shoes as the path is uneven and slippery.
