How to reach Kusadasi by flight

Located 80 km from Kusadasi, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is the closest and most convenient airport. After landing, you can take a private transfer or hire a taxi to reach Kusadasi. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Bodrum Milas Airport (BJV) is 130 km from Kusadasi. Similar to Izmir, you can take a private transfer or a taxi to reach Kusadasi.

How to reach Kusadasi by road

The major roads from Istanbul, Cappadocia, or Antalya are connected to Kusadasi through Aydin via Soke on the south and Izmir via Selcuk on the north. From Izmir Airport you have three options: the minor sub-road following the coastline, the old main road, or the motorway with a toll (exit at Selcuk). Renting a car from Izmir Airport can cost around EUR 40 to EUR 60 per day, depending on the type of car and the rental company.

How to reach Kusadasi by bus

Kusadasi is well-connected by bus to major cities in Turkey. The main bus station in Kusadasi hosts several bus companies that offer direct services to cities like Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, and Nevsehir. During high season, there are frequent buses running between Izmir and Kusadasi.

From Izmir: Buses run every hour in winter and every half-hour in summer. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. However, there is no direct bus from Izmir Airport to Kusadasi; you need to go to the Izmir city center and take a bus from there.

By Ferry: Kusadasi can be reached by ferry, particularly from the Greek island of Samos. The ferry ride from Samos to Kusadasi takes approximately 45 minutes. There are two ferries daily during the high season, one at 8:30 AM and another at 5:00 PM.
