Situated in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon, Musee des Confluences is a museum dedicated to science and anthropology with scriptures and artefacts on the subjects like zoology, ethnography, mineralogy, paleontology and archaeology. It exhibits various heirlooms from different times.
This museum exhibits various heirlooms like the Sputnik 2 replica, Egyptian mummies and other fossils that are preserved for millions of years. With four permanent exhibits “Origins - Stories of the World”, “Species - the Web of Life”, “Societies- Human Theatre”, “Eternities- Visions of the Beyond” and some temporary exhibits, there are bone fossils, iron formations, rock items and ancient scriptures that make it worth visiting.
