Naousa, Paros Overview

Naousa, a picturesque fishing village on the northern coast of Paros, is renowned for its charming harbor lined with traditional whitewashed buildings, vibrant tavernas, and cafes. Visitors explore its narrow cobbled streets, dine on fresh seafood, and enjoy the lively nightlife. The village also serves as a gateway to nearby beaches like Kolymbithres and Monastiri, accessible by boat. Its Venetian castle ruins add a historic touch to the scenic waterfront.

The old port of Naoussa is also filled with a number of boutiques, restaurants, quaint cafés or if you prefer authenticity, a tiny tavern where fresh stock from the sea is laid to dry. Another local attraction you can explore is the ruins of the old Venetian fort. While today, only a partially submerged tower exists, in the 15th century, when it was built by the Ventians, it was used as a front line to observe the enemies and keep a watch on pirates.
