Located at Jalan Teluk Bahang, Penang Tropical Spice Garden is an 8-acre bio-diverse living museum showcasing over 500 living specimens of lush and exotic flora and fauna from around the world. It has been recognized as one of the best flower gardens in Malaysia.
The Tropical Spice Garden can be best explored by opting for either a live guided tour or an audio tour which takes one to the waterfalls, stream crossings and structures made of recycled organic materials. Several educational programs are also hosted for children to be able to get closer to nature in a fun way. The Penang Tropical Spice Garden has been built at the site of once abandoned rubber plantation by David and Rebecca Wilkinson with the hope of instilling and nurturing nature awareness and appreciation.
