The National Museum of Saudi Arabia, better known as King Abdulaziz Historical Center (KAHC), is an eminent heritage of the history and culture of Saudi Arabia. The museum is most famous for its eight galleries which are based on different themes regarding the history of different regions in the nation. KAHC withholds glorious Islamic and Arabian art as well as architecture.
The museum encloses the Murabba Palace and was actually a former composite of the palace, inaugurated by King Fahd, in 1999 to mark the hundredth year of the Emirate of Riyadh. Today, it also contains a small theme park, a mosque, a library, an old courtyard, a garden, an assembly hall and many more places to access, with the area covering about 28,000 square feet of space. It is the solitaire of KSA, embracing the antiquity of the country's Saudi royal family, monarchy and foundation.
